Frequently Asked Questions

Programming

+ What kind of classes do you offer?

Our programming consists of a range of styles and subjects of music. We cover anything from traditional cultural styles of music from the African and Latin American diasporas, jazz, classical, hip-hop, rap, and more contemporary styles. Some of our instructors also teach traditional dances of indigenous peoples while others teach skills pertaining to film making, music recording and producing, and so much more.

However, we do not offer any specific individualized classes. Programming varies and is determined by the organizations and institutions we work with and will be designed to fit both the wants and needs of the students and institution.

+ How much is the cost of your programming?

Costs for our programming are determined in a consultation and are meant to accommodate the budgetary needs of each organization and institution. In the case of non-profits, organizations, and institutions that work with underserved youth, we offer discounted rates.

Typically, our sessions last for an average of 1.5-2 hours. Session run times are determined when consulting with the organization or institution. Some of our programming may only be a one-time session and others may be a contract for a designated number of sessions for a quarter, term, or an entire year.
